There are lots of lovely recipes and spice inspirations on the website as well as handy videos, so you get to know about and see the product in use before purchase. There are different types of FinaMill too – battery-powered (which we have pictured), rechargeable and stainless steel depending on what you are looking for. The packaging and branding is quality with clear instructions. A fab gift for dads who enjoy cooking.
Lola’s Cupcakes Father’s Day Cupcake Box, RRP £22.20.
Lola’s Cupcakes was created in 2006 by Victoria Jossel and Romy Lewis, where the pair opened concessions in Selfridges, Topshop and a flagship store in Mayfair. Today they have grown to over 30 locations including stores and collection lockers and deliver products nationwide. The website is packed with cakes and sweet treats with options for Vegan, Gluten-Free and lower Sugar cakes. In certain areas you can collect from stores/lockers and they offer a driver delivery service (use the handy website map to see where this is available) or order via post with Lola’s nationwide delivery service. Father’s Day gifting is easy with Lola’s Cupcakes ‘Super Dad’ Collection which includes cupcakes, brownies and full-sized chocolate or vanilla layered sponges from the UK’s favourite bakery.
We feature the delicious and Pop Art inspired colourful Super Dad cupcakes. A regular box (pictured) includes six generous cupcakes, and a miniature box contains 12. AA 50 Walks In series, RRP £13.99.
The AA needs no introduction, but what you may not know is that they have published a walking guide series of paperbacks. Walking is one of Britain’s favourite leisure activities and this 180-page guide features a variety of mapped walks to suit all abilities, from gentle strolls to longer hikes. Why not buy a book that covers your local area or favourite part of the country which you holiday in? You could even combine the walking guide with a couple of nights at a B&B for an extra special gift! There are 31 titles in this series – and to give you an idea we picked Herefordshire & Worcestershire which contains 50 walks of between 2–10 miles and features all the practical detail you need, accompanied by background reading on the history and wildlife of the area, photographs and clear coloured mapping (sourced from the Ordnance Survey) for ease use.
Every route has been colour-coded according to difficulty. One of my favourite things is that all walks are annotated with local points of interest and places to stop for refreshments. Every walk is given a summary of distance, time, gradient, level of difficulty, type of surface and access, landscape, parking and public toilets. I found the parking and toilet information very useful! Great for a day out to experience all the countryside has to offer. They have also included advice for dog owners about a route’s canine friendliness. Go to the walk’s locator map’ located on page 7 to see the locations of the walks within the county. The revamped editions include Devon, Gloucestershire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, North Yorkshire, and West Yorkshire as well as the featured Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The guides have a a shiny covering which means the odd raindrop can be wiped off quickly. The books measure 22cm by 11.8cm. I found the narrow width of the book useful as the guide fitted in a bag easily and would recommend these as perfect gifts for anyone interested in walking or hiking.

Multi-use stoneware Hokan Bowls, RRP from £24.00.
Hokan is a British design company that manufactures and sells unique products for the kitchen and home ,designed to save food, money and time. Their ethos is firmly based on sustainable and efficient living, tackling food waste and zero-plastic products.
