It is two weeks into the lovely Katie from Mummy in a Tutu and I’s new Instagram hashtag community #Lionessmama and we are still absolutely loving and overwhelmed by all the gorgeous pictures being added. Thank you to the amazing Mums for joining in, we may be exhausted but we are proud, fierce and rocking motherhood. And our cameras.
If you want to share your image on Twitter add myself @parentingjungle and Katie @mummyinatutu. It doesn’t matter what the picture is…. if you love it, hate it, enjoy it or are having one of those moments we want to see it!
These pictures just make me melt inside!
My first picture choice on the top left is from the lovely @bringupgeorgia who as you can guess by my pick last week is fast becoming one of my favourite Instagramers, not just because her little lady is beautiful but her shots are always colourful and really well considered!
My second pick is the fab snap in the top right, how can this not make you happy, a beautiful little pirate skeleton wearing a really cute mouse and tights outfit. Everything that is awesome about being a child is in that picture. @ has some beautiful pictures in her feed and I am always stunned by the beautiful exposure in her photos.
“What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.” ― Karl Lagerfeld
Katie chose the picture in the bottom left by @whitecamellias whose photos are always unquestionably stunning, my favourite are her snaps of her littles at the beach. This picture captures her children drawing and playing in the scribbly, carefree way only they can. I totally want to know what he is pointing too.
Her second choice was one of my favourite too. This smiley little lady taken by @ is everything that makes me happy about the world. There is not much more of a higher praise than that!
My picture of Katie’s that I fell in love with is this one of her little girl, pink knit cardigan, little curls, cheeky smile and food all over her face. Girl after my own heart, I hope its cake.
There you have it for our second week – don’t forget to head over to #Lionessmama and join in, everyone is welcome!
Show us your inner lioness and #mumpride on the good days and bad. We look forwards to next week!
